Last night, a truck-to-truck collision resulted in the death of one of the drivers. According to the PRF, traffic is interrupted due to technical difficulties in removing vehicles. The detour takes place within the city of Dois Irmãos.
The breathalyzer test performed by the trucker, who survived the accident, confirmed that he was drunk. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), he was transferred to the HPS in Canoas, where he was still on duty this morning. The test showed a result of 0.4 mg / L of alcohol in the air of the lungs, indicative of a crime. The trucker couldn’t resist.
According to a preliminary analysis carried out by the PRF at the scene of the accident, the Scania truck, from Santa Rosa, invaded the opposite lane and collided head-on with the truck, a Volkswagen from Biguaçu / SC.
The driver of the truck, not yet identified, died at the scene. The 39-year-old car was born in Entre-Ijuis
The crash occurred around 7:50 pm, at kilometer 223. On that occasion, PRF agents moved into the frontal collision between large vehicles. Both were partially on the bridge, at risk of falling.
