Brazil exceeds 7.5 million cases of Covid-19 and more than 191 thousand deaths

OR Brazil exceeded the mark of 7.5 million cases of COVID-19. With 20,548 new positive diagnoses of the disease registered in the last 24 hours, the country reached 7,504,833 infected since the beginning of pandemic of the new coronavirus. On Sunday (27), the panel Ministry of Health brought 7,484,285 cases.

According to the update, the total deaths from the new coronavirus reached 191,750. In the last 24 hours, 431 new fatalities have been reported from the pandemic. Until yesterday, the system registered 191,139 deaths. There are still 2,439 deaths under investigation.

Data from the Ministry of Health also point to 744,635 patients under follow-up and 6,568,898 people who have already recovered from the disease.

In general, the records of cases and deaths are lower on Sundays and Mondays due to the difficulty of entering data by the health departments on weekends. On Tuesdays, totals tend to be higher due to the accumulation of weekend information sent to the binder.
