Xiaomi made the international launch of the high-end Mi 11 mobile phone this Monday (28) for the suggested price equivalent to R $ 3,230. In addition to the powerful technical file, the smartphone goes against the market by keeping the charger as an optional item.
In practice, consumers will be able to choose whether they want the accessory and will not have to pay more for it. Xiaomi says the decision was made as part of efforts to preserve the environment.
There was an expectation on how the Chinese manufacturer would address the problem, as Apple caused controversy by removing the charger from the iPhone 12 line’s case. Samsung is going the same way with the upcoming Galaxy S21, according to behind-the-scenes information.

The Mi 11 is the first phone on the market with the Snapdragon 888 processor recently launched by Qualcomm. It is an eight-core chip manufactured in 5 nanometers, indicative of a better use of energy. On the other hand, Xiaomi has not revealed the speed of the system.
Another highlight of the model has to do with photography. There are three cameras on the rear: 108 MP (f / 1.85) main, 13 MP (f / 2.4) ultra-wide, and 5 MP (f / 2.4) macro. Selfies are 20 MP (f / 2.4).
Three combinations of RAM and storage are planned:
- 8 GB + 128 GB: about R $ 3,230
- 8 GB + 256 GB: about R $ 3,475
- 12 GB + 256 GB: about R $ 3,800
For now there is no launch forecast in Brazil, where Xiaomi operates in association with DL Eletrônicos.

The successor to the Mi 10 has a 4,600 mAh battery and fast recharging, either by cable or wireless. The system is Android 10, although Android 11 is already available on the market. The interface is MIUI 12.5.
Xiaomi’s new commitment to telephony leaves the factory compatible with 5G internet, something that is far from being a reality in Brazil.
To complete the specifications, the 6.81-inch screen, 3220 x 1440 pixel resolution and AMOLED panel. With a 120Hz refresh rate, you owe nothing to smartphones intended for gamers.
