Brazil reached 190,795 records of deaths from covid-19 as of 6:00 p.m. on Saturday (20/26/2020), according to the Ministry of Health. There are 307 more victims than those registered the day before. The country also confirmed a further 17,246 cases in the period, totaling 7,465,806.

Due to the week of Christmas, the data may be delayed to be reported by the State Health Departments, giving a false impression of encouragement in the number of cases and deaths.

The data indicate that 6,475,466 people recovered from the disease and 799,545 remain under follow-up.
