In addition to D’Alessandro, Abel Braga may have said goodbye to Beira-Rio against Palmeiras – Revista Colorada

Abel Braga needs no introduction for Colorado fans. The most successful coach on the club’s international scene in Rio Grande do Sul has a long-standing relationship with Beira-Rio and may have played his last match at Gigante last week.

The match against Palmeiras marked the farewell of Andrés D’Alessandro to Inter. An empty Beira-Rio kept in his memory the tribute to the Argentine, but while the athletes applauded the shirt 10 on the edge of the field, another farewell could be taking place in the technical area: that of Abel Braga.

With an uncertain future and the imminent arrival of Miguel Ángel Ramírez at Inter, Abel Braga could have made his last game at Beira-Rio also against Palmeiras. Although he has a game against Bahía on the weekend and with a link that extends until the end of the season, Abel Braga is not sure for 2021.

If it comes out at the turn of the year, December 19 marked two farewells to two idols in Colorado history at the stadium where they were so happy.
