President Jair Bolsonaro (no party) said on Saturday (26) that he does not feel pressured by the fact that other countries have already begun to vaccinate their population against the new coronavirus, arguing that he does not “care.”

The remarks were made after a long walk this Saturday morning in Brasilia, in which he stopped several times to speak with supporters. None of them wore a mask.

“Nobody presses me for anything, I don’t give a damn,” he said after being asked by journalists, if there was pressure because other countries had begun to immunize the population.

“It is the reason, the reasonableness, it is the responsibility of the people, nothing can be applied to the people,” he added.

Countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Chile, among others, have begun to apply vaccines against Covid-19 in their population.

The president also reiterated that laboratories are not responsible for the side effects of vaccines. This has been one of the arguments to justify its decision not to take responsibility for possible adverse reactions from vaccines.

“Everything I’ve seen so far in a vaccine that may be available has a clause that says the following, okay? They are not responsible for any side effects, “he said.

The president caused agglomeration in practically all his stops. Initially, Bolsonaro stopped at a bakery and a lottery shop in the Cruzeiro neighborhood.

Then he went to the Urban Military Sector, but did not visit any authority. He stopped quickly at a closed soccer field, but stayed a few minutes. Then the train stopped on a street to speak to the public.

In the southwest, he stopped at a stationery store, where he again took pictures with his followers. He left without any product in his hands.

In the southwest workshop sector, he again caused an agglomeration in the so-called Praça das Motos, when he again took photos and greeted supporters.
