The São Paulo coach admitted the possibility, but stressed that he will continue to speak with the players
After losing 1-0 to Grêmio, in the first game of the semifinal of the Brazilian Cup, coach Fernando Diniz did not rule out the possibility of saving some players against Fluminense, this Saturday (26), for the Brazilian Championship.
Asked about the matter, the coach who practically did not spare his athletes this season, revealed that a talk with the players will decide who plays or not.

“The possibility exists, but it is a possibility. There are all possibilities, save or not. We will talk to the players, which is what we do most here. We are in excellent physical condition, we will talk and see what.” it is the best for São Paulo “.
Diniz wanted to remember that São Paulo has a squad that is recovering well and reinforces the fight for both the Brazil Cup and the Brazilian Championship.
“But we are on both fronts, in both championships and it is a team that can recover well from one game to another. We are going to look at everything and see what is best for the team.”
With 53 points, São Paulo leads the Brazilian Championship but sees Flamengo in the tail, with 48 points and one game less. It is worth mentioning that, in the last round of the Brasileirão, the two teams meet in Morumbi. If Diniz’s team is still fighting for two cups, Rogério Ceni’s team has only Brasileirão ahead.
In the Copa do Brasil, Tricolor Paulista will return to the field next Wednesday (30), for the second game of the semifinal, against Grêmio, in Morumbi.
