A student, in the seventh year of elementary school at Colégio Pedro II, died last Monday (21) due to covid-19. Eduardo Leal Keller, 13, was hospitalized for two weeks in the Pediatric ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of the Pedro Ernesto University Hospital, located in the Vila Isabel neighborhood, in the north of Rio, and he did not resist.

Eduardo studied at the Humaitá Campus, in the south of the city. The school posted on social media a note of condolence for the student’s death.
