The São Paulo Prosecutor’s Office said it will summon state deputy Fernando Cury, from Citizenship, to testify at the beginning of January. He was accused by the state deputy, Isa Penna, of the PSOL, of sexual harassment, during a session of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo. The situation was recorded by Alesp’s cameras.

The case occurred in the early hours of Thursday (17), in the last vote of the year in the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo, that of next year’s state budget. The session was recorded by cameras scattered throughout the plenary and recorded the moment in which Deputy Isa Penna, from PSOL, faced the president of Alesp, with her back to her colleagues, and did not notice when Congressman Fernando Cury approached, of Citizenship. He hugged her from behind, one hand on the assistant’s chest.

At the same time, Isa Penna pulled her arm away and Mr. Cury still insisted on touching her again. According to her, during the budget discussion, some deputies held a fraternization in the room behind the plenary session.

“I was drunk, I could feel it. He had those cloth masks on and it was precisely because of his proximity here that I took out and joined one thing with the other. And I realized that he was drunk. And I said: you’re drunk. Get out of here, get that clown out of here, ”he remembers.

Isa Penna says that she realized that the deputies were talking about her in that session. They saw a video posted by her on a social network, dancing funk, of the PSOL candidate’s campaign for the city of São Paulo.

“That atmosphere already existed. Many questions, many people pulling me. ‘Very nice video’, ‘Congratulations’. I mean, these kinds of questions. Clearly, my body was already being discussed, ”he says. See the full story above.
