The president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, explained that the public of the assistance benefit is more sensitive to the issue of technologies. For this reason, the digital account for the payment of the Family scholarship it will be offered “with ease,” he said.
The new option will allow the beneficiary to choose a payment of their preference, either digitally or by traditional means. Without the need to go to an agency to withdraw program resources, the modality will be able to avoid crowds.
In this way, migration to the new channel will be gradual, according to the Social Identification Number (NIS). In December, for example, the new payment method will be delivered to beneficiaries whose number ends in “0” and “9”.

CAIXA Tem is the new CAIXA application created to facilitate access for all Brazilians to social services and various banking transactions.
The app is available to download from the Android and iOS stores.
With this application it is possible to make purchases on the Internet using the Virtual Debit Card, generated for free in the application itself, and also purchases in stores through a QR Code generated by the merchant on the store’s own machine.
Those who have a CAIXA account can also check their balance and account statement, make payments and transfers of up to R $ 600 per transaction and up to R $ 1,200 per day.
How to download Caixa Tem?
To do this, simply go to the Google Play Store or Apple Store and download the CAIXA Tem application. Access is done with your CPF and a 6-digit numeric password that you create on the spot.
After logging in, just click on the service you want to use and type what you need.
To access your account information, make payments and transfers with the same password, you must enter your cell phone number and wait for an SMS message with a code to confirm your identification.
