OR kidnapping of a four year old girl In Palhoça it came to an end at dawn on Sunday (20), when the child was found in the north of the Island, in Florianópolis. They had taken her from the house where she lives with her family, in Barra do Aririú, around 8:00 p.m. on the last Friday (18).

According to the Civil Police, the girl is well and a couple was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping. The details of the investigation will be announced at a press conference at 10 am at the General Civil Police Station in Florianópolis.
What is already known are the details of what happened before the kidnapping. According to the police report, two people invaded the residence, beat the mother with sticks and took the girl away in a white Volkswagen Gol.
Before the girl was located, the Palhoça regional delegate, Michele Alves Correa, said that the girl’s family is humble and, therefore, the Civil Police did not believe that the criminals wanted money for the ransom. The possibility of an assault was also ruled out.
Investigators said that a car similar to the one used in the escape had been prowling the region in recent days, indicating the possibility that the criminals were already planning the kidnapping days before, according to the Civil Police. Witnesses also reported that those involved had a Spanish accent and were a couple.
