But it may have influenced why he was so stupid that he forgot they were filming him. On Friday morning (18), Isa said that holding a political office in Brazil is an extremely violent experience for women.

The Penal Code establishes, in its article 215-A, as sexual harassment “practicing against someone and without their consent, a libidinous act with the aim of satisfying their own lust or that of a third party.”

And it provides for a prison sentence of 1 to 5 years, in case of conviction. Due to this maximum penalty stipulated by law, the accused of this crime can, in theory, be arrested on the spot.

Unlike sexual harassment, the crime of harassment, to be framed, requires that the agent, that is, the accused, impose himself “from his position of superior hierarchy or ancestry inherent to the exercise of a job, position or function.”

By law, a crime that, in theory, would not fit into a situation of sexual abuse would be one that occurs between peers, such as a deputy against a deputy.

The Penal Code provides for a lesser penalty for sexual harassment: imprisonment for 1 to 2 years. In practice, this even prevents a defendant from being caught on the spot on the basis of this crime alone.
