The sectional delegate of Americana, Martha Rocha, confirmed that the stepfather of the girl María Clara, 5 years old, found dead on Friday (18), in Hortolândia, confessed that she killed the girl. He was arrested and confessed to the crime on Friday morning.
“Now let’s find out what was the motivation that led to committing this crime. The authorship has already been determined ”, said the delegate, in an interview.
According to the delegate, there are indications that the girl was sexually abused, but responsibility has not yet been confirmed.

Disappeared
María Clara disappeared in the Vila Real neighborhood on Thursday morning and the family has been searching for her ever since. The case generated a stir on social media.
The girl’s body was seen by a woman around 9:30 a.m. in a vacant lot on Rua Irmã Nazária Rita de Fillipi, in the São Felipe neighborhood, in the Vila Real region, in Hortolândia, and near the family home. It was inside a cardboard box covered with plastic.
