In confirmed cases, since the start of the pandemic 7,042,695 Brazilians have had or have the new coronavirus, with 68,437 of those confirmed on the last day. This is the second highest number of case reports in one day since the pandemic began. The highest number on record was on July 29, when the country had 70,869 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus.
