Three military policemen, being an officer and two soldiers, were arrested, this Tuesday (15), suspected of being the executors of the Quiterianópolis massacre. The arrests were made in the municipality where the crime occurred, which killed five people on October 18. Temporary arrest warrants and search and seizure warrants were executed.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the investigations were carried out by a commission made up of the Regional Police Stations of Quiterianópolis and Tauá, and the Judicial Police Departments of the Southern Interior. (DPJI Sul), Police intelligence (IMMERSION) and the Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP).
All the work had the collaboration of the Intelligence Coordination (Coin) the Secretariat of Public Security and the Intelligence Advisory Office of the Military Police. This Tuesday (15), civil and military police participated in the operation, with the support of the Internal Affairs Police Station (DAI) of the Comptroller General for Discipline of the Public Security Corps and the Penitentiary System (CGD).

On October 18, five people were shot dead in a house located on Rua Manoel Vieira de Carvalho, in the municipality of Quiterianópolis, 410 kilometers from Fortaleza. According to witnesses, the victims consumed alcoholic beverages when four armed men They entered the scene, asked the victims to lie down, and fired several firearms. One of the victims of the massacre was 31-year-old dental surgeon Gionnar Coelho Loiola. He was the son of a reserve sergeant of the Military Police.
Survivor
On the day the crime occurred, a young man survived the Quiterianópolis massacre after being shot in the leg. A witness who spoke to him told the Green Seas System who was on the porch of the house when the criminals ordered the people to lie down on the ground to then fire the firearm. After receiving a blow to the leg, the young man told the witness that he fell to the ground. Then he sought help from the neighbors.
