As the holiday season approaches, violence in mining roads begins to increase. This Monday (12/14), two trucks and a passenger vehicle, a gray Hyundai, were involved in a shocking crash at kilometer 426 of BR-381, towards Caeté-Belo Horizonte, near the Caeté Bridge. Firefighters confirmed that a woman was killed and a man was seriously injured, both passengers in the car.
One of them would have fallen in the place and the other car would have collided, in the front part, against the rear part of the passenger vehicle, which was pushed under the body of the overturned vehicle.
To rescue the victims, the Carcará helicopter, of the Civil Police (PCMG), was sent to the scene. At around 9:20 p.m., firefighters reported that they removed the man inside the car. He was transferred on the PCMG aircraft to the João XXIII Hospital.
