Following the news that Odair Hellmann had accepted an offer from Arab football to leave the FluminenseOn Monday (7), the Rio de Janeiro club confirmed the departure of the coach and his assistant Maurício Dulac to Al Wasl, from the United Arab Emirates.
In an official note, Tricolor das Laranjeiras also confirmed that Marcão, U23 coach and permanent assistant coach of the professional team, will assume technical command of the team until the end of the season.

Valued since the good season with the International In 2019, it has received surveys from abroad ever since. At the beginning of the year, the ‘Arab world’ tried to get Odair out of Fluminense, but the coach took a step back and preferred to continue in Brazil.
The club and the coach even started talks to renew the bond that would last until December. The team’s intention was to keep the professional until the end of 2021, but the coach himself asked to postpone the talks.
