SC bank robbery: PF investigates money laundering and actions of factions in more cases | Politics

The PF investigates a possible crime of laundering of stolen money and also the connection of the criminal faction with other robberies. The assault investigation is conducted by the local police.

At dawn on Wednesday (2), a gang with at least 10 criminals took to the streets of Cametá (PA), 235 km from Belém, and robbed a Banco do Brasil branch.

Despite the similarity of the cases in Santa Catarina and Pará, investigators say there is still no evidence that the attacks were committed by the same criminal group. However, the hypothesis has not been ruled out.

Sources linked to the investigation believe that the assault in Santa Catarina was carried out better because it had more men and because the criminals chose a more strategic bank branch.

The Ministry of Justice and the Federal Police provided experts, papilloscopists and the intelligence service for both states.
