Investigators from the 13th Police Station (Sobradinho) arrested on Wednesday night (02/12) the suspects of having executed the 31-year-old driver of the application Roosevelt Albuquerque da Silva. They are older and younger.
The body of the driver was found on Tuesday night (1/12), shortly after his disappearance, at the entrance to the Cinema Pole in Sobradinho. Experts from the Institute of Criminalistics (IC) identified that the victim was executed with a shot to the head.
The police officers who were at the place where the body was found did not find any belongings near the body of the victim. All the objects were in the possession of the authors of the robbery (robbery followed by death).
Tracking
The 13th DP team managed to recover the victim’s car, cell phone, wallet and other belongings with the couple who were arrested. According to investigations, Roosevelt would have picked up passengers in the central area of Brasilia and would run to Sobradinho, minutes before disappearing.
As explained by the chief delegate of the 13th PD, Hudson Maldonado, it was possible to locate the criminal couple by tracking the race through the application. “We arrived at the residence of the adult author, where the key to the vehicle, wallet and cell phone were found, as well as the weapon used in the crime,” he explained.
The author showed where the car was and also handed over his colleague, a teenager who was apprehended. “They will take him to the Police Station for Children and Adolescents (DCA). The oldest was fined in flagrante delicto and could face the crimes of kidnapping and corruption of minors, from 21 to 30 years in prison, ”highlighted the delegate responsible for clarifying the crime.
