The cities of Alto Tietê return to the yellow phase of the SP Plane; see what changes

The SP Government announced, in the early hours of the afternoon of this Monday (30), that several regions of the State that were in the green phase fell back to the yellow phase of the SP Plan, among them, Alto Tietê, which includes the cities of Mogi das Cruzes, Suzano, Itaquaquecetuba, Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Poá, Arujá, Santa Isabel, Biritiba Mirim, Salesópolis and Guararema.

The return to the yellow phase brings back the ban on cultural activities, in addition to restricting the hours and the public’s capacity for shops, bars and restaurants.

In commerce, the maximum allowed occupation of establishments ranges from 60% to 40%, and the opening hours are limited to ten hours a day. The occupancy limit also applies to bars and restaurants, as well as reduced hours. Consumption on site is allowed until 10 pm. Additionally, public standing events are again prohibited.

It should be remembered that the restrictions will only come into force after the municipal decrees have been published by the municipalities.

What changes the yellow phase

  • Permanent hearing events are now prohibited;
  • The maximum occupancy of shopping centers, galleries, shops and services ranges from 60% to 40% of capacity and opening hours are reduced from 12 to 10 hours a day;
  • The maximum occupancy of restaurants or bars for local consumption ranges from 60% to 40% and the opening hours will be restricted to 10 hours a day and until 10 p.m.
  • The maximum occupancy of salons and hairdressers goes from 60% to 40% of capacity and the opening hours are reduced from 12 to 10 hours a day;
  • The events, conventions and activities will have their maximum capacity limited from 60% to 40%, access control is mandatory, as well as the schedule and scheduled places.
  • The sports academies of all modalities and gymnastics centers will have a maximum occupancy capacity limited to 60% to 40% of the place and the hours reduced from 12 to 10 hours;

The São Paulo Plan guides the resumption of the economy and the daily life of the population, with the premise of safety, prevention and guarantee of assistance, together with the encouragement to maintain essential attitudes such as hand hygiene, environments, in addition to the mandatory use of mask. and, above all, the strengthening of the hospital network.
