After being confirmed as the winner in the second round of the elections in São Luís, Pode’s candidate, Eduardo Braide, celebrated the result of the polls this Sunday (29). With 100% of the votes counted, Braide received 55.53% of the votes. Duarte, for his part, obtained 44.47% of the valid votes. In a speech to supporters of the committee set up in Retorno do Caolho, in the capital, Braide thanked the votes received.

Eduardo Braide is 44 years old, he is from São Luís, he is a lawyer and is in his first term as a federal deputy for Maranhão. Previously, he was elected for two terms as a state deputy.
