The fight between Marco Antônio Rosa Borges and the masseuse Clarice Silvestre de Azevedo, who confessed to having murdered the cartoonist, was motivated by a photo published by him on a social network. According to what was found in the report, the author confesses that she went to find out the victim’s satisfaction after seeing her image with another woman.
To the police, the masseuse confirmed that Marco Antônio arrived at the scene around 7:30 am. After a session of approximately 50 minutes, the victim would have gone to take a shower, when the woman approached him to discuss the photo taken outdoors with other people.
According to the version presented by her, the image brought discontent because the victim, with whom she had a relationship for about 9 months, did not want to assume a relationship, but would have published an image with another woman.
Clarice also said that Marco Antônio showed indignation at the interrogation, when he would have slapped himself. Then he thought it was wrong and pushed the cartoonist down the stairs. After that, with a knife, he struck the body of the victim.
The woman did not present the knife used in the crime.
Help – Clarice took responsibility for the crime, but, as determined by the Campo Grande News, the woman had the help of one of her children to quarantine the victim. João Victor Silvestre de Azevedo Leite, 21, testified Wednesday and confessed his involvement.
The discovery of the crime occurred after Clarice presented herself to the police of São Gabriel do Oeste, 140 kilometers from the capital, confessing to having killed, dismembered and burned the body of the victim. Taken to Campo Grande, she is held in a cell at the 2nd Civil Police Station in the capital.
