“The Bahian law is in mourning. The lawyer Jorge Lima left us after being the victim of a car accident in the Graça neighborhood. A tireless defender of fundamental rights and guarantees, Jorge Lima honored all lawyers with his firm performance, mainly in the field of Labor Law ”, says the text.
Also according to OAB-BA, Jorge Lima has also worked in the Brazilian Association of Labor Lawyers (ABAT), where he represented Bahia as vice president of the Northeast.
The OAB-BA note also notes that the professional was well-liked and “one of those figures in the legal world who will miss you not only in forums and jury sessions, but mainly in conversation circles.” There is no information yet on the attorney’s funeral.

Jorge Lima maneuvering the car when he lost control of the steering, broke a wall of the building and fell from a height of about five metersaccording to the manager of the neighboring building.
The accident occurred on Wednesday morning (18). Two teams from the Fire Department were dispatched to the scene to remove the victim from inside the car.
A resident of another neighboring building said he was home when he heard a loud noise.

At around 4:30 pm, teams from the Technical Police Department (DPT) were in the building investigating the situation.
