In the balance of Friday night, Brazil had 164,855 deaths and 5,811,699 cases. In the last 24 hours so far, 523 deaths and 29,052 cases have been registered.

The states of São Paulo and Paraná did not release data on deaths on Friday and alleged problems with the Ministry of Health system in which records are made. The portfolio’s executive secretary, Elcio Franco, said there are indications that the portfolio has been the target of cyberattacks.

The moving average of cases has an upward trend

The moving average of new deaths per day in Brazil is 403, which represents a drop of 5% in two weeks. The variation indicates that the country returned to the stable range (no significant highs or lows in deaths) after 12 days in decline.

Already the moving average of new cases registered per day is 25,599, an increase of 17% in two weeks, which indicates an uptrend, which has not happened since October 30.

The Federal District and 7 states have an upward trend in deaths: Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, Acre, Amapá, Roraima, Tocantins and Rio Grande do Norte.
