Delegate Barbara Lomba, who was in charge of the first phase of the investigations into the death of Pastor Anderson do Carmo, said during a hearing on the case on Friday that there were sexual relations between several members of the house of Congresswoman Flordelis dos Santos. . He said that the relationships occurred between the first members of the house, when they lived in the favela of Jacarezinho, in the North Zone of Rio.
– There were relationships between everyone there. Flordelis was not only related to Anderson and Anderson was not related only to her (Flordelis) – said the delegate, describing aspects of the family that caught his attention when investigating the murder.
Barbara was the second prosecution witness to be heard at the hearing in the case in which Flordelis is accused of having ordered the death of her husband. The delegate Allan Duarte, responsible for the second phase of the investigations, testified before her.
The delegate described in detail how the relationship developed between the family members. Barbara claimed to have heard informal reports from Flávio dos Santos, Flordelis’s biological son, about relationships within the home.
– Flávio said he was outraged by the relationships he saw (in the house), – said Barbara.
The delegate also added that the relationships within the Flordelis family “caused astonishment.”
– Relationships were based on lies. A family relationship logic based on strategy was established and facades had to be built. Many things that happened in the house could not appear – he described.
The delegate said Flordelis “chose” Anderson as her husband, as he was the most prepared for the role. The pastor came to Flordelis’s house when he was a teenager.
“I will not say there was no marriage, but what was preached in the church was not,” he said.
Bárbara Lomba also highlighted the deputy’s power of influence within the family and said that “no one would do what she did without the knowledge of Flordelis.”
Delegate Allan Duarte made statements along the same lines as Barbara.
– They (Flordelis and Anderson) presented themselves as a loving couple to society, but in the dark it was totally different – he said.
Flordelis arrived at the forum around 1:45 pm, 45 minutes late. Upon entering the plenary session, the deputy and her lawyer were reprimanded by the judge in the case, Nearis dos Santos Carvalho Arce, of the 3rd Criminal Court of Niterói.
As soon as he entered, Flordelis sat down on the dock. Later, the judge asked the other defendants, seven children and a granddaughter of the parliamentarian, as well as a military policeman and his wife, to enter the plenary session. Seeing the family, Flordelis began to cry.
At the beginning of the hearing, an unusual situation: the judge herself asked that while the names of the family members mentioned in the hearing were being pronounced, they appear. “We don’t know who is who,” he told the magistrate.
During the hearing, Flordelis continued to shake his head at the witness reports. In just a few moments, he agreed with what was said. The deputy attended the session wearing a long floral dress that hides the electronic anklet she has been wearing since last month.
Flordelis is being monitored by the device as she cannot be arrested due to her parliamentary immunity.
