Canadian media have reported that a police operation is taking place at Ubisoft’s headquarters in Montreal. The local police department did not elaborate.

“We are aware of the situation and are working together with the local authorities,” Ubisoft said in a statement to IGN.
The Montreal Journal reported that there may be hostages in the company. However, there is no confirmation from the police.
Ubisoft Montreal officials are sharing updates on their own situation on Twitter. While part of the team works from home, others who were at the company in person are posting on social media.
