The reptile was filmed walking calmly in the rain on a golf course. Its size and grandeur made it look like a time-traveling species that dates back directly to the time of the dinosaurs.
Sputnik – Employees of Valencia Golf and Country Club, a golf club in Florida, United States, were surprised to see the alligator walking calmly on a golf course on Wednesday (11), according to the local Miami Herald.
The alligator, more than 10 feet long, was captured on video as it headed into the water, probably after a hike in search of food. Not even the heavy rains left by the passage of tropical storm ETA affected the giant reptile’s walk.
The images were recorded by Tyler Stolting, a member of the club who was traveling in a golf cart when the alligator crossed his path.
The magnificence of the animal and its way of walking caused surprise and made it on social networks to compare it with the giant “Godzilla” or with a kind of dinosaur.
Some people doubted the veracity of the footage due to the size of the crocodile and contested it as a montage. But there are also those who claim that this type of crocodile has been seen on Florida golf courses.
