The money obtained through the credit line must be used exclusively in micro-businesses.
Credit line Progress, aimed at entrepreneurs benefiting from the Family scholarship and not having income to invest in the business itself, it has expedited approval and lower interest rates than those applied in other modalities. The program aims to empower individual microentrepreneurs (MAY) in situations of poverty and extreme poverty to open or strengthen companies that help their families increase their income. Microenterprises that produce handicrafts, cakes, snacks, and that offer electrical services are examples of businesses supported by the program. See what are the prerequisites to apply for the loan:
- Being over 18 years;
- Be an individual micro-entrepreneur (MEI);
- Not having predetermined restrictions in agencies such as Serasa and the Central Credit Protection Service (SCPC);
- Have inscription in the Unique Registry (CadÚnico) and Bolsa Família;
- Have an account open at Caixa Econômica Federal;
- Make a registration in the Program Progredir.
It is worth mentioning that the entire amount obtained through this type of microcredit must go to the business. This means that the money cannot be used for other purposes, such as buying personal items and paying debts, for example.
Another observation is that, as the main objective of the program is to increase the income of families, if the company develops and manages to stay alone, the micro-entrepreneur must request his voluntary withdrawal with Bolsa Família. However, if the company goes bankrupt, the owner of the company has the right to reapply for the receipt of the monthly benefit.
