The average number of Brazilian goals was cut in half
The fighting history is very unbalanced. There are 25 games, with 21 victories for Brazil, three draws and one defeat (2-0, in a 2008 friendly). Brazil scored 89 goals and conceded only eight.
There have already been four 6-0 goals and other 4-0 goals for Brazil; the biggest was 7-0 in 1999. But there is a slightly less imbalance bias in recent years.
From the first confrontation in 1969 to 2000, Brazil scored 14 games and 67 goals, an average of 4.78 per game. From Venezuela, two goals – 0.14.
Since 2000, there are 11 games, with 22 goals by Brazilians – average of two per game – and six of the Venezuelans – average 0.54 per game.
