Not this time … After the model Jakelyne Oliveira won the peasant hat for the third time, at dawn this Thursday (12), Internet users demonstrated and pointed out an error in the count of points, demanding a career review. However, in a statement to the hugogloss.com, Record stated that “The test has been verified and the result will stand”. Two weeks ago, the program recognized a flaw in one of the disputes and suspended the outcome.
Jakelyne competed for the spot against Jojo Toddynho and Raissa Barbosa, in an endurance match that lasted two hours in a total of 24 rounds. The test consisted of riding on a moving wheel while decorating a sequence transmitted on a luminous panel. The dispute between the three was fierce: Jakelyne with 132 points, Jojo with 128 and Raissa, 119. But, according to the spectators, the result would have been manipulated.
From round 14 onwards, some people noticed a difference, without any explanation, in the sum of the Miss Brazil score. Through videos and impressions taken from Record TV’s streaming platform Playplus, viewers noted that the model’s count had exceeded the maximum possible points up to that point in the dispute.
Others also noticed that some boxes were misplaced by Jake and counted as true. The hashtags “Prova Manipulada” and “Carelli” (name of the program director) entered the trending topics of Twitter.
