Corinthians have a new reinforcement for the rest of the season. This Monday afternoon, the club used social media to officially announce the arrival of forward Jonathan Cafu, 29, who was at Al Hazem in Saudi Arabia, who is arriving free of charge following the termination of the contract.
As planned, the player signed a contract with Timão until the end of 2023 and he should be available to train Vagner Mancini in the next few days. It is the third reinforcement since the arrival of the coach: Fábio Santos and Jemerson also arrived.

Cafu comes to Timão as a different option for Vagner Mancini’s attack. From the beginning of his career, after all, he was recognized for his speed and skill, characteristics that not only the current Alvinegro coach misses, but also Tiago Nunes and Coelho missed.
With a quick passage through São Paulo, the player has been out of Brazil since 2016. Outside the country, he wore the colors of Ludogorets, from Bulgaria, and later Bordeaux, from France. He also played for the Red Star of Serbia before going to Arab football. Throughout this period, there was no great protagonism in any of the teams.
Option for the sides of the field, he will fight for space with Everaldo, Léo Natel, Gustavo Mosquito, Ramiro, Gabriel Pereira and Mateus Vital.
