A surveillance camera at the Centro Videira, in western Santa Catarina, recorded the moment when a woman jumped out of a moving car. According to the Police, the risky attitude was taken to escape from a situation of harassment by the driver.
The case occurred on Wednesday (4) and was registered with the Civil Police on Thursday (5). The Police Station for the Protection of Children, Adolescents, Women and the Elderly (Dpcami) is investigating the case. It was not specified if the driver of the car and the victim know each other.
The camera captured the moment the car door was opened and the woman jumped from the moving car, near an intersection. He fell in the middle of the street and sat for a few seconds.
The car that was just behind on the street slows down and stops in the middle of the street. The woman gets up alone and walks away. The Focus, from which the woman jumped, continued on its way unaided and out of camera angle.
The woman is expected to testify for Dpcami next week. Until this Saturday (7), neither the driver nor the car were located by the police, as NSC TV showed.
