The body of Benjamín Nunes de Jesús, a 4-year-old boy who had been searched since his disappearance on the beach of Santa Cruz dos Navegantes, in Guarujá, on the coast of São Paulo, was found this morning at sea.

The boy disappeared around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, when the mother, confectioner Ana Cristina de Souza Nunes, took her son to spend the day on the beach. The boy was playing with another boy when he saw his father passing by. After distancing herself to speak, she went back to playing with her friend, and soon after she lost sight of her mother.
