The dramatic elimination of São Paulo by Lanús has led to Argentine celebrations on social media.
The victory of the Tricolor by 4 to 3 left the team out for the goals away from home, in the second phase of the South American Cup (they lost the first game by 3 to 2 in Argentina). The goal that eliminated the São Paulo team came in the 47th minute of the second half.
After the game, right-back Di Placido made a live broadcast on Instagram directly from Morumbi’s dressing room, reproduced by the Argentine newspaper “Olé” on its website.
In it, midfielder Belmonte made fun of Daniel Alves, when Di Placido asked him about the São Paulo jersey 10.
– Who will play out there again (from South America) – he said, between blasphemies directed at São-Paulino.
