The quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil tonight won three more representatives (4). Flamengo, América-MG and Ceará obtained the classification after triumphs over Atlético-PR, Corinthians and Santos, respectively. Now there are six classified. Two spaces remain.
The trio joins three other clubs, which have secured their place in recent days. They are: Inter, São Paulo and Cuiabá, which eliminated Atlético-GO, Fortaleza and Botafogo, respectively.
The last two places will be defined on Thursday (5), in the Juvenil vs Grêmio and Palmeiras vs Red Bull Bragantino duels. In the first match, the Grêmio team played a draw in Caxias do Sul, after a 1-0 win in the first leg. In the second, the team can lose even by a goal difference at home, because they won the first game 3-1.
The draw for the quarterfinals will take place on Friday, at the headquarters of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), starting at 11:30 am (Brasilia time).
