Tom Veiga’s body is buried in a São Paulo cemetery | Saint Paul

He was veiled for about an hour before burial in a ceremony reserved for family members.

On Tuesday (3), friends and family were also able to say goodbye to the actor at a funeral held in the condominium where the actor lived, in Rio de Janeiro.

Tom Veiga was found dead at his home in Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of Rio, on Sunday (1st).

The report from the Medico-Legal Institute, to which Globo had access, indicates that the actor and comedian had a hemorrhagic stroke, caused by an aneurysm.

The necropsy examination revealed that Veiga was already affected by a brain aneurysm, which is a type of inflammation of the blood vessels whose rupture is usually fatal.

Generally, an aneurysm does not cause any symptoms, making early diagnosis and effective treatment difficult.

Tribute of Ana Maria Braga

On Monday, the host Ana Maria Braga paid tribute to her friend in her program “Mais Você”.

The partnership between Ana and Tom Veiga had lasted 24 years.

“I was wondering how I was going to get here and say good morning, because it hurts a lot. Just like a mother loses a child, a partner, because our child is a couple that you saw being born and that was it.” the presenter.

Actor André Marques, who was the first to arrive at Veiga’s house on the day of his death, also participated in the program.

Marques said the two would meet, but the actor did not appear. “I was already flying there,” he said very excited about the moment he saw his friend.
