Pedro had trained with the group for the past two days, but without fully participating in the activities. He had also been registered in the first leg, in Curitiba, but at that time he still had no physical conditions, it was a way for Dome to motivate the athlete and keep him close to the squad.

On the other hand, the injured Arrascaeta, Gabigol, Rodrigo Caio and Diego are still out. The quartet is in different stages of recovery from their respective physical problems.

Flamengo and Athletico-PR will meet at 9:30 p.m. this Wednesday, in Maracaná, for the second leg of the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil. Along the way, the Rio team won 1-0, giving them the advantage of tonight’s tie.
