Telephone and Internet systems have been down since Tuesday afternoon, when test sessions for all six classes were suspended. The initial information was that there was a technical problem.

Internally, ministers are concerned about a change made to the judicial system last year.

As a precaution, the procedural deadlines were suspended until next Monday (September 11). The court informs that urgent demands are centralized in the presidency of the STJ and requests that the petitions be sent to the email [email protected].

See below the official note from the presidency:

“The Superior Court of Justice announces that the court’s computer network was attacked by hackers this Tuesday (3), during the afternoon, when the trial sessions of the six group classes were held. The court has already called the Federal Police to investigate the cyber attack.

The Information and Communications Technology Secretariat (CTI) works to recover the service systems offered by the Court.

As a precaution, the procedural deadlines are suspended until next Monday (9). The demands that imply the disappearance of rights (urgent demands, such as the precautionary measures of habeas corpus) will be centralized in the presidency of the STJ for the same period. Requests can be sent to the email [email protected].

All trial sessions, virtual and / or by videoconference, are suspended or canceled until the security of data traffic in our systems is restored.

The IT department of the STJ recommended that users – ministers, servers, interns and subcontracted workers – not use computers, not even personal ones, that are connected to any of the Court’s computer systems, until security is guaranteed of the procedure.
