Speaking in the early hours of Wednesday (4), President Donald Trump said that, by right, he won the elections and that he will go to the Supreme Court to stop the counting of votes and prevent “fraud.”

“All of a sudden, I said, what happened to the election? … they knew they couldn’t win, so they said, ‘Let’s go to court,'” the Republican said. “We want the law to be used correctly, so we go to the Supreme Court of the United States. We want all voting to stop, ”he added.

“We don’t want them to find ballots at four in the morning and add them to the list,” he continued.

“This is a fraud for the American people. It is a shame for our country. We were preparing to win this election. By right, we won this election. We will go to the Supreme Court of the United States. We want the voting to stop, ”the president said, despite being behind Democrat Joe Biden in electoral college screenings thus far.

Trump’s speech meets expectations in an article on the Axios website on Sunday, which said the president could declare his victory and question votes received by mail and not yet counted on election night. He denied doing this and Biden, upon learning of the possible move, said: “Trump will not steal this election.”

Trump did not elaborate on exactly what his argument would be to sue the Supreme Court. He listed the states where he had a good vote and thanked him. Then he said he would win in states like Pennsylvania, which is not defined, and set out to declare that fraud would occur.

“Millions and millions of people voted for me. But a sad group is trying to take away these people’s rights. We were getting ready for a big party. We will win it all, ”he said. “A record, numbers never seen. Look Florida, we won by a lot. It is also clear that we won Georgia. They can’t reach us, ”he said.

Trump also said the state of Arizona is undecided. “And we don’t even need it,” he said. Soon after, however, Biden was declared the winner in that state.

But more importantly, we are winning Pennsylvania with a tremendous advantage. We have more than 600,000 votes ahead, this is very far. It will be almost impossible to locate us. And we are winning Michigan. I see the numbers, it’s a lot. We won states and suddenly what happened to the elections? “, I ask.

Pennsylvania is considered one of the key states for this election precisely because of the large number of votes sent by mail, a modality in which the Democrats had a much greater following this year.

Thanks to an authorization granted by the Supreme Court, those that were sent by the deadline of Tuesday – Election Day – can be counted until Friday the 6th. This should cause the results in the state to take longer than normal to be known.

Although Trump appears at the forefront at the start of the poll in Pennsylvania, the image is expected to return to Biden, who was leading the polls, when mail-in votes were counted.
