Actor Tom Veiga, interpreter of Louro José, died this Sunday (1), in Rio de Janeiro, at the age of 47. He gave life to the parrot in the program Mais Você, presented by Ana Maria Braga on Globo. According to the station, Veiga was found dead at his home in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio.
Veiga worked on the show for over 20 years playing a parrot doll. The character was conceived in 1996 by the presenter. At the time, she was hosting Note and Anote, on Record, and he was the studio assistant for the show.
