On Friday (30), the deputy governor of São Paulo, Rodrigo García, will be in the Alto Tietê region to announce the publication of the tender for the duplication of the Alberto Hinoto Highway (SP-56), in the connection between the cities of Arujá and Itaquaquecetuba. The information is from Condemat (Consortium for the Development of Alto Tietê Municipalities).
Long-awaited by the population, the duplication of the SP-56 is considered by the current Condemat management one of the priorities for regional development. “This work is always demanded by the mayors with the State Government and we also had an important mobilization of the deputies to carry out this investment. With the modernization of the road, we will have more fluidity in traffic and, mainly, safety for the thousands of people who use it every day. This favors economic development in an axis with many industries and companies that operate in different sectors ”, emphasizes the president of Condemat and mayor of Guararema, Adriano Leite.
With a daily average of 30 thousand vehicles, the SP-56 is one of the main road corridors in Alto Tietê. With the growth of cities that are on its axis, at different times of the day it tends to register peaks of slowness and even congestion.
At the beginning of this year, state deputy André do Prado and federal deputy Márcio Alvino mobilized drivers, businessmen and residents of the region in a petition to defend the work. The document, with more than 20 thousand adhesions, was delivered directly to the lieutenant governor and the expectation is that, with the duplication, the connection with Ayrton Senna (SP-70), Mogi-Dutra (SP-88) and Presidente Dutra (BR -116).
The details of the SP-56 project, such as investment value, extension and exclusive corridors, will be presented by the lieutenant governor during the visit. The announcement is scheduled for 9:30 am on Friday, at number 3,550 of the highway, in the Itaquaquecetuba section.
