After drawing 1-1 at the Arena da Baixada, in a duel marked by emotion, controversy and goals canceled after consultations with the VAR, the teams decided the place in Maracanã. On penalties, Huracán got the best: Santos shone in the collection, took shots from Diego and Everton Ribeiro and secured the athletic classification, after winning 3 to 1 on penalties.

Atlético and Flamengo live opposite situations in the season. Flamengo fights for leadership and is the current runner-up in the Brazilian Championship, with 35 points, the same score as Internacional. Atlético is 18th, with 16 points, in the relegation zone.

In a delicate situation in the Brasileirão, the hurricane a month has passed without winning – The last victory was over Bahia (1-0). There are eight games without victory (also counting Libertadores), with three draws and five defeats. As the main, the team has not won four games and is coming off two consecutive defeats.
