The Federal Police carried out on the morning of Tuesday (27) a search warrant and seizure against a man designated as responsible for opening two bank accounts using the data of the player Neymar da Silva Santos Junior, one of them with the objective to receive registered emergency assistance via cell phone. A police investigation investigates fraud in the opening of Caixa Econômica Federal accounts.
According to the police, in April and May, the suspect managed to get emergency aid approved on behalf of businessman Luciano Hang. The money was transferred to a fraudulent account in the name of the player Neymar.
The investigation also found that the man tried to apply a similar scam using the name of the current Minister of Economy, Paulo Nunes Guedes, and managed to register several people for emergency aid whose fees were withdrawn by him.
The investigated person and the other participants in the fraud discovered in the investigation will be responsible for the crimes of major fraud, falsification of public documents, use of false documents and criminal organization, to the extent of their responsibilities.
The court order was issued by the Federal Justice of Ceará and carried out in Fortaleza, at the direction of a man appointed as a mentor for several coups d’état with the federal financial institution. Documents and media were seized and will be submitted to technical-scientific experts.
