We can speak of a drop in figures when the drop is greater than 15% if it is verified in the last 14 days, in this case, the period of the last two weeks. If the numbers rise more than 15%, the epidemic accelerates. Intermediate values indicate stability.

Brazil has registered 263 new deaths from covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to information released today by the Ministry of Health. In total, the country adds 157,397 deaths from the disease since the start of the pandemic.
From yesterday to today, there were 15,726 new cases across the country. The federal government reports that, in total, Brazil reached 5,409,854 diagnoses of the disease caused by the new corornavirus.
According to data from the ministry, 4,865,930 people recovered from the disease in Brazil, with 386,527 cases being followed.

In response to the decision of the government of Jair Bolsonaro to restrict access to data on the covid-19 pandemic, media Twitter, El Estado de S. Paulo, Folha de S.Paulo, O Globo, G1 and Extra formed a consortium to work collaboratively to seek the necessary information directly from the state health departments of the 27 units of the Federation.
