Senators from Paraná Alvaro Dias and Oriovisto Guimarães, from Vamos, decided not to participate in the “concentrated effort” of the Senate to approve the nominations of authorities, including Kassio Marques for the STF.
As Dias, leader of the caption, indicates, Eduardo Girão and Lasier Martins assumed the title in the Senate CCJ. Members of the Muda group, Senado, the two have adopted a tough speech against Kassio’s nomination.
Previously, as we published, Álvaro Dias justified the change by saying that he will no longer vote “a political nomination for higher courts until the projects that change the nomination criteria are voted in Congress.”
