All the regions of the city of São Paulo are in flood care status this Tuesday afternoon (20) for the second consecutive day, according to the Emergency Management Center (CGE) of the City of São Paulo. The alert began at 2:12 pm and there is a possibility of hail in some neighborhoods. The situation is more serious in the regions of Sé and Casa Verde, who are on alert.

According to the CGE there are 18 flood points in the capital at 4:00 p.m. The institute recorded the two streams overflow: Mandaqui, in the Engenheiro Caetano Álvares Avenue region, in the North Zone, from 3:20 p.m., and Saracura, at number 200 of 9 de Julho Avenue, in the South Zone, from 4 p.m. . Also in the North Zone, the flooded one of the entrances to the Santana station Metro Line 1-Blue.

The CGE also verified Winds of 87km / h at Cumbica Airport, in Guarulhos, at 2:16 p.m.

The São Paulo Fire Department received 38 calls for floods, mainly in the North Zone, in addition to 9 cases of falling trees and 3 landslides.

The CGE weather radar images show light rain in the North Zone and moderate rain in the West and South Zones. In the South Zone it rains a lot, while in the East Zone it does not. According to the institute, the showers continue to lose strength, but there is still the possibility of flooding.

In Guarulhos, Arujá and Mairiporã, in Greater São Paulo, the record is light rain with moderate points.

On Monday (19) a storm caused flooding, the fall of trees and a traffic jam in Greater São Paulo. Wind gusts of up to 46 kilometers per hour have been recorded in the capital. The most intense rain occurred in the Vila Maria / Vila Guilherme region, in the North Zone.

With heavy rains in the afternoon and afternoon on Monday (20), several neighborhoods in the capital were without power. According to Enel, the regions most affected by the rains and power outages were the neighborhoods of Tremembé and Santana, in the North Zone, and Vila Prudente, in the East Zone.

The rain also affected the operation of the São Paulo Metropolitan Urban Transport Company (EMTU) in the cities of Embu das Artes, Taboão da Serra and Itapecerica da Serra, with delays of 25 minutes in the circulation of buses on five lines.
