It was determined by the preventive detention of the lawyer who killed the military policeman Luciano Abel de Carvalho Nunes, on Monday morning (19), in an accident on Avenida Ministro João Arinos. The lawyer was drunk.
Guard judge Thiago Nagasawa Tanaka decided to arrest the lawyer on Tuesday (20). Before the law judge Aluizio Pereira do Santos, he had decided, at the custody hearing, that the request for release made by the defense lawyer should be judged by a judge on duty.
The decision was made because there was a request for freedom in the process and to avoid conflicts, the request must be resolved by the judge on duty. The defense had requested release without bail, alleging that the client had no financial means.
The lawyer is imprisoned in the Campo Grande Military Prison, where he occupies a special room. During the custody hearing, he confirmed that he had four shots of vodka in a nightclub there with a bottle of vodka when the accident occurred.
He was driving a Cobalt vehicle, which was Bob, a car with documentary restrictions and cannot be driven. The CNH (National Driver’s License) was defeated since 2015. He said he was kicked and threatened with a gun by the man who arrived at the scene of the accident.
Fearful, the lawyer said he decided to flee and said he did not ask for help because he realized that other people who had arrived at the scene had called the Fire Department. When they found him, the lawyer even tried to lie claiming that he was with an app driver, but the police realized that he was the author of the accident.
The accident occurred around 4 am on Monday (19), when the policeman was driving his motorcycle on Rua Centaurea to enter Avenida Ministro João Arinos and the white Cobalt car was coming down the avenue and when the motorcycle passed by there was the collision. With the collision, the military corps ended up in the central workplace.
The military died on the spot. The driver tried to escape on foot after leaving the vehicle in the middle of the avenue, but he was hit near Cepol and arrested. The driver did not have a CNH (National Driver’s License) and was intoxicated, and the alcohol meter test came back at 0.79 mg / l.
