The Military Police reported that men from the 20 BPM (Mesquita) were shot while reviewing a report of an unauthorized incident on a street in Morro da Bacia, in Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense, on Sunday morning (18). Four people were hit and three died, including Gabriel Ribeiro Marcondes, 20, the grandson of samba player Neguinho da Beija-Flor.

There was a funk dance at the venue. Gabriel was even taken to Posse Hospital, but he didn’t resist.
Besides him, two other people died. The dead are Mateus da Silva Gomes and a man not yet identified by the police.
The fourth victim was arrested in flagrante delicto for trafficking, association and attempted homicide.
The case is investigated by the 58th DP (Posse). The Civil Police are still investigating the circumstances of the crime.

Through social networks, Neguinho da Beija-flor thanked friends and followers for their affection, said that he is dealing with the bureaucracy and that he hopes for justice.
Gabriel’s father, Paulo César Marcondes, is the son of the samba player.
“Guys, I thank you for all the messages of comfort and affection that I am receiving from friends and fans, for the death of my grandson Gabriel. I apologize to the friends for not answering and not returning as calls, but I am dealing with the bureaucracy of funeral, since my son PC is not in a position to take care of everything by himself. It is a very difficult moment. The pain is enormous. I ask you to pray that Gabriel follows a path of light. And I hope that the police and justice fulfill your role ”, said the samba player.

Gabriel’s death certificate, obtained by G1, testified the cause of death as “injury caused by a firearm projectile.”
Gabriel’s burial is scheduled for 4 pm on Monday (19), in the Nova Iguaçu cemetery.
In a note, the Beija-Flor samba school expressed solidarity with the family and asked that the circumstances of the death be investigated:
