The Paraná Medical Legal Institute said the examination to identify the cause of death of former gymnast Ana Paula Scheffer was not conclusive. Ana’s body, which was found in the 31-year-old girl’s own room, will undergo further testing. The information was published by ‘G1’.

– She was a very happy girl, very dear. She never gave me a job, she was very loving. It was our pride, my two sons are proud of me. It will be more difficult, because it seems that what I am going through is a dream. The hour that will fall will be difficult – said the athlete’s mother who, according to G1, believes that her daughter had a massive heart attack.

The gymnast defended the Brazilian rhythmic gymnastics team and won a bronze at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2007. Ana was a coach of the Cascavel team, in the same state. The team reported that the former gymnast was at home and was found dead by her mother, who went to wake her up.

In addition to the bronze in the arc apparatus in Pan do Rio, Ana Paula participated in the Pan de la modalidad in 2005, the 2006 South American Games in Buenos Aires, and 2010, in Medellín, as well as the 2009 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, in Japan.
