After seven months of the arrival of Covid-19 in Brazil, only six cities do not register a single case of the new coronavirus. The information is from G1.
Most of these cities are in Minas Gerais, including the best known, São Thomé das Letras. The municipality is known for receiving several tourists from the country who go in search of its natural beauty and also for the legends of supposed UFO appearances, in addition to being the setting for some soap operas.
The city government banned tourists from entering the pandemic. However, last Thursday (15), a decision of the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais (TJMG) determined that it should once again receive visitors from other places, but they must pass through a sanitary barrier at the entrance to the city.
In addition to São Thomé, the mining towns of Cedro do Abaeté, Pedro Teixeira and Botumirim did not register cases of Covid-19 either. Complete the list of cities free of the disease, two cities in the south: Laranjal, in Paraná and Cerro Branco, in Rio Grande do Sul.
